WEST COAST CREATIVE AWARDS


Rules

The small print, presented at a more appropriate font size. As creatives, we love to break the rules – but unfortunately if you don’t follow these they’ll get you disqualified. Get in touch if you’re questioning any of these rules.

Location

  • Minimum of two Vancouver (and area)-based creatives must have conceptualized and led production on the entered work in all creative categories. They must reside in and work from a Vancouver based organization or the Vancouver office of an organization.

  • Same rules apply to individuals submitting work not associated with an agency. 

  • The client and account team can be located in another location if minimum creative needs are met. 

Entries

  • Each entry can only be submitted in a maximum of two (2) categories.

  • All entered work must have been produced in response to an actual brief from a client or approved the client before publication.

  • All entered work must have been available to the public through legal mediums.

  • All entered work must have been made on behalf of a contracted client with their approval and funding. Spec work is not permitted (this does not apply to student categories). 

  • All entries must be commercially released in their original form between March 4th, 2024 and March 4, 2025.

  • All entries must be free of agency logos or mention. Judges will have access to all entries submitted as well as written descriptions. 

  • The West Coast Creative Awards may request proof of initial publication, posting or air date as well as proof of creation or production dates. 

  • Submissions that have been previously entered in the  and are materially unchanged will not be eligible. Entries may be moved into other categories at the judges’ discretion without the prior approval or consent of the entrant.

  • Entries are open from March 4th, 2025 till April 18th, 2025.
